Angling Trans down some

Anyone had any luck doing this?
My trans flange points up towards the back about 2.1* and I am thinking about putting a washer on each of the bolts for the tranny brace to lower it a tad.

Anyone try this? any issues?

The other option I thought was to use a washer under motor mount, but i'd rather do the trans.

Its pointing up 2.1*? Are you running aftermarket motor mounts? If mounts are stock it sounds like they could be cooked. I'm at 2* down, all stock mounts, measured at ride height, driveshaft removed.

Have you tried measuring the angle from the front of the crank pulley? It should be the same as the trans flange.

washers on the trans mounts might work but I would think that the motor mount would bind everything up and try to keep the trans pointing in the original direction - doing both motor and trans might work better. 2.1 up is alot of degree to correct.

there is alot of sh1t in the way to measure on the crank pulley, did you use a carpenters square? (L-bracket thing)
stock trans and motor mounts. car is lowered with FRPP K springs (1.5/1.5) I may end up changing springs to steeda sports
