I'd heard the same thing, but when I went to do mine, they weren't even close ('97 calipers/spindles onto a '93). I ended up just getting nice new stainless lines from maximum motorsports. Good luck.
I've heard that you can grind them too, but the only thing I found was this bit on Matt's website about the 99+ calipers:
The '99+ brake lines that come with the caliper are not direct bolt-ins for the 79-93 cars at the hard lines. If the passenger side line does not work, you need to an adapter to bolt them on. The stock 87-93 v8 brake lines have a lip on them to keep them from rotating on the caliper. That would have to be ground off to use it with the PBR calipers and grind the caliper a bit to make them work. I would suggest to not ue the stock brake lines and upgrade to the '99+ Mustang units or aftermarket SS lines. If you are going to upgrade, most SS lines use a round piece at the caliper end, so you will not have mounting issues on the caliper.
Regarding the PV, from Matt's website again, you turn it all the way in to bleed the brakes, and then all the way out and then in like 3 or 4 times for the initial setting, then fine tune it from there.

Unless you have replaced your lines recently, like in the past 4 or 5 years, I would just go ahead and get new lines for safety's and performance sake. Mine were so bad when I replace my brakes I'm surprised they didn't spring a leak! No sense risking damage to that new paint job with old worn brake lines.
I am in the proess of puttine 00 stuf on my car, and the the driverside 00 line bolted right up to the hardlines(89 stuff). The paasenger side is different at the soft to hard line connection. You can use you Fox body soft line with SN95 banjo bolts if you grind the block where the banjo bolts goes through to fit the sn95 caliper. I was gonna do that, but eneded uop getting Russell braided lines..
