I am new to the Mod motor so please bear with me while I show my stupidity. Seeing as this is not my old ’71 with a 351 Cleveland, I am sure that I have no clue how to start matching up performance parts for my 4.6. I have a 2005 Mustang GT with a manual transmission and want to up the horse power a bit. Economy is very important to me as my budget is very tight and I am only a Senior Airmen in the USAF with a 40+ mile drive to work every day. So if any of you have these or close to these parts did it help or hurt your fuel mileage and by how much?

I found a power pack option at the RPM Outlet and would like to know 2 things about it.

1. The $900 option at the very bottom, why are they saying headers, pulleys, intake, and tuner are only worth 40hp?

2. Are these parts a good match for the new 3v 4.6?

Thanks for your help guys, stay tuned as I embark on my quest for 350HP:Track: at the wheels on a very stringent budget. (Any help from the more seasoned guys would be great here!)

The afforementioned power pack is not off base with the claim of 40 horses. From what I understand, CAI is good for about 10, pullies another 10, headers I have read anywhere from 10-25 and then the tune itself can hop it up another 10-20. If these numbers seem inaccurate, please correct me someone!!

I just installed some Hooker long tube headers, and I can certainly tell a difference. Also running an intake with an Xcal 2 tuner and x pipe, and all this has definitely increased the HP, just how much I don't know, as I have yet to dyno it. Pullies will be coming along at some point, but I need to fine tune my exhaust
