another "how much hp" thread

Everything is possible. Although, its highly doubtful you'll make 350-375 rwhp on a H/C/I 302(You said you were aiming for mid to high 300's). I mean if your gonna run stock compression, good luck. From what i've seen from others dyno sheets a 331 or 347 with like 10.0:1 comp or higher is making between the 350-400 range. To expect that out of a 302 with stock compression is just nuts. 19's will support 300 hp. Injectors aren't like an intake, put it on and get 20 hp. You'll only gain hp if your engine needs the extra fuel supply.

Have you priced injectors lately? By the time you get those 24's to your door you'll have over 300 dollars in them. But buy them if you need them.

And off the top of my head, i dont' have the mag so i can't tell you the exact #'s. But MM&FF '93 Cobra with a 347 stroker. And i believe they used the TFS Track heat h/c/i package only put down like 350? But i dont know what comp they were running. Just don't get your hopes up. They are only #'s.

I mean here is a good ride along video. Its the TFS H/c/i package. It looks to be great fun on the street, its not all about peak hp. Although i do not know what comp hes running. Or if hes using the stock bottom end etc.. But its just a ref.

well i wasnt planning on running stock compression. if we bore it out which i know we are then im gonna get new pistons to boost the compression up. im not exactly sure what compression im gonna go with yet but when the time comes ill have it figured out. but thanks for the input on that.

and about the injectors, no i didnt know they were that high but thanks for lettin me know. and i know they wont really help on the power numbers.

im really jus wantin something that is fun on the street and i can put down some good times at the track.
