I was at work this morning picking up new grownd wires for the bird, when a kid who hangs out at the store showed up. I offered him a ride around the block. he is big into inports. he's had a supra, civic, and just bought a new miata. well we pulled out of the parking lot and on to the street. his first coment was on how comfortable the seat was then he thought it was cool that I had progrramable ride control diferent settings for premium and economy. and was even inpressed that my antena went up and down lol. well we got out to the highway. when I turned right to get on the frontage road, I dropped in to 2nd and punched it kicking the ass out normaly a little twitch of the wheel would straiten it back out but I figured sence this kid is into inports he probobly likes "drifting" so I hung it out for about 50yards and slowly pulled it back in line. after the ride we pulled back in to the parking lot and as I set the parking brake he said and I quoate "man I want a tbird!" lol another ricer converted.

I'm trying to convince my Dad that letting a T-Bird sit around until I can swap it would be worth it. There's one for sale right now for $600. I'm short of that, but here's to hoping my parents will spot me! Doubtful, but here's to converting another!

LOL a friend of mine has been a fanatical V8 owner and he even has a 70 Camaro with a built 427 Vette motor.

Well problem is he cant afford gas anymore or his 427 Camaro or V8 Mustangs so I have been telling him for years to get a turbo 2.3L, economy and performance.

He now has two turbo coupe's and loves them. He is even now spending more money on the Tbird.

I just sit and smile while he sings his Tbirds praises.
