351W
.030 over
Comp 274XE cam
Weiand Stealth
Ported stock heads
1 5/8 headers into 2.5" exhaust
Flowmasters
MSD 6
Accel super stock coil

I asked for this before I think, but I did a search and couldn't find it. D'oh. Oh, and if anyone knows how much power would be gained with Trick Flow Twisted Wedge or Performer RPM heads added, feel free to enlighten me.

Thanks

what compression? 10- 11.1 and what carb.

i myself would go for the afr's 165's at the least if you plan on buying heads.thats what i should have done.
head bolt on about 20 rwhp with edelbrocks

ooops

compression would be probably around 9.5-10:1 (would do work on heads to increase it a bit), and initially i'd have a 600 edelbrock carb, probably later upgrade to ~700-750 holley or edlebrock. Use the 750 as your reference point.

with the setup you listed i get this from Engine Analyzer:

Ported Stock Heads:
387 HP @ 5500 RPM and 405 lb-ft @ 4500 RPM

AFR 165:
395 HP @ 5500 RPM and 406 lb-ft @ 4500 RPM

looks like a pretty good combo to me... your exhaust is probably holding you back a bit, but other than that looks good. the AFR/Ported difference would likely be a lot larger as it seems the head specs in Engine Analyzer are fairly aggressive (stock GT40 heads net 349 HP @ 5000, 384 lb-ft @ 4500).

thanks bullitt, and whoa, i was expecting more in the 330 range at the crank, with that combo looks like I'd make more like 300 at the wheels. Wow, and that is pretty crazy cheap too...

it's all going to depend on how good your port job and exhaust is...

that is probably a "best case" number esp on the head port job.

I think the AFR 185's would be perfect for a 351w.
