Does anybody know how much different gear ratios affect dyno numbers?

Such as 3.73, 4.10 and 4.30?

Just thought i'd make a thread, because I have absolutely no idea

well honestly I don't know, but why does it matter? get it to the track and see what it runs... I think from what I've seen, a car with 4.10s will show slightly less power on a dyno than one with 3.73s

let first take into account the loss through the bearing meteric secenlicular which is 4/5x a to the b= y n'th power. take that by pie and then add 7. from there count the number of cyls. and tires in your case 4 and 4 (your b22az45 swap) so the answer will come to around....yellow? hmmmmm ok around 3 hp

It really doesn't matter, but i'm just tryin to figure out where i'll be at after my cams and stuff.. i'm VERY anxious to get it tuned (next friday)

No no no.. I know what gears I want, I just wondered if there were any dyno differences for different gear ratios.. just so I can compare what my dyno numbers MIGHT be next friday

Well 4.10s vs 3.27s usually differ close to 10RWHP...so 3.73s vs 4.10s would probably be around 5RWHP at best. I wouldnt worry about that too much . Your car will be fast as heck.

I had been looking at that and trying to do some planning, but it was going to be too hard for everyone to go.. so I just said screw it
