another rim/tire question

So we are set that a 275/60/15 are the fattest drag radial staying on the safe side without rubbing? For the record...Also any suggestion on a good anti-roll bar?

Thank you 306notch big help you have been.Thats what I figured about the aint/sway bars. If I have other questions on this build look out for my PM's.

Looks like a guy needs the same help you been giving me on drag radial size *check out recent threads*

If anyone still would like to keep ths thread "active" to post more of there cars it would be a big help and greatly appreciated.

No problem, im not sure what is the best anti roll bar! If it was me yes the 275/60, u can go with a shorter 275/50 thats only 26" tall but is a little wider than the 275/60, but the 275/60 has a taller sidewall-more sidewall= more traction=getting out of the whole quicker! People have ran in the 7's with this tire size!

im running 275/60/15 with 8s with5.5backspacing had to roll fender and pound in the inner
body to get to fit and still rub on big bumps i havnt had any luck with drag radials here is a picture of my 88 coupe

You say it fits like a glove huh?
can i go bigger? if there is anything a little wider?

I like the wide/tall profile on the rears tying to go as big as possible with no launch issues. You said you had a 28" slick on there what was the width 11"? correct?
just trying to get all questions out of way now..

thanks

oh you also said if i want wider look go 9" how would that make it look wider changing the rim width?

Heres a link to Mickey Thompson, u can compare the DR and the slick sizes here!

Im not really sure i had the hoosier in that size and it rubbed, but not all brands like MT or Hoosier have sizes that are exactly the same, they very from manufacturer to manufacturer. A 11.5" slick from MT might not be the exact same as the Hoosier 11.5"!

pictures didn't take... its on Wolfe customer cars very bottom section of pictures only two fox bodys (red)&(Silver)with all the cameros/firebirds

Let me know ...

Not sure What You Want to Know, but I can tell u cant drive something like that on the street without rubbing, im sure with all the right suspension u can run them at the drag strip apparently, they do! I already told u what to run on the street to be streetable!:chair::D
