Another Unnamed Part

Okay, this is a picture of someone else's car but I stole it to ask you what the name of the circled part is. It's the part that is right behind the battery under the hood. The positive wire from the battery connects to it, as well as I think the ground does too. (I think mine got fried when I hooked up a different alternator, well it was smoking. I don't think that's quite good...) Anyway, does anybody have a name for this?

Thats the starter relay.

real easy to change everything if i remember corectly goes on the right side if you are looking over it except the ground it goes on the other side.
