TOnight I was with some friends out having wings at a bar and I was approached by an older gentleman who wants to sell a NICE 95 CObra...55,000 miles. I would have to sell the purple pony first, so what should I even ask for the car? I'll give some background on the car. 95 GT...98,000 miles, X cam and SVO upper and lower intake, the paint is like 3 weeks old,has a ram air hood and CObra front bumper cover, brand new Cobra R rims and Nitto tires, they have less than 2,000 miles on them. Only issues with the car are the interior is still beige, has a real small oil leak, maybe 1/4 of a quart between oil changes, and the throw out bearing chirps, been like that for 2 years. Car needs detailed under hood, still dusty from being painted, and buffed. exhaust is pretty much stock except the 2 chamber flows...what do I even ask for it?

I paid 7500 for mine when it has 69k on the clock. But I feel I overpaid b/c of paint condition and needing a/c & clutch work. If your car is in perfect working order, then holding out for 7000 isn't too unreasonable. But it might take longer to sell.

Why would you waste your time with a 95 cobra? I mean, if you plan on doing head/intake work anyway, they will just be removed for aftermarket ones. The differences between the cobra & the GT are trivial, so why even consider the trade?
