Another wheel house ?

Well I finally got some time and started fabricating a patch for the wheel housing. I checked my old thread on this and looked at the pictures by 2+2GT to see how part of it should look and it really doesn't look anything like mine so I'm confused

My wheel housing has a rolled in flange all along the bottom which really doesn't make a lot of sense, logically I could see it if it was an inch or so lower so the trunk aligned with it. GT's wheel housing doesn't appear to have this 1/4" or so roll in it?

Yes it does. Your trunk floor is so low the indented hem area is exposed. Un-bend the trunk floor to fit properly.

Well that makes sense about the alignment but there's no way I can unbend it. It's perfectly aligned with everything else but the wheel housing. To lift it an inch I would have to bend it into a banana or cut and section the whole back part?

In the corner wher the brace is you can see a 3/4" or so square hole, I would have to lift the entire trunk to the top of that?

The gap at the front is a bit wide but acceptable, but I notice it runs downhill, getting wider, toward the rear. Narrow it up, spot weld (or whatever) the hem, and seam seal it.

I think I'll make up a small filler piece and roll a 1/4' offset into it, weld that to the wheel house and basicall lower the hem to where it should be. I think that's the only way to make it look reasonably correct. I need to cut a chunk of the trunk anyway as it's a mile away from the wheel housing so I'll have decent access.
