Anxious in Afghanistan...need suspension advice
Hey ya'll been over here bout 2 months and on my day off I keep doing all this research on front suspension/steering/brake options and have a massive tug of war going on. First off I have a '67 Coupe, engine out rotating assembly together just waiting...the car is stock with the exception of the engine. Ok here is my issue for a kit you can get Heidt's Mustang II with bells and whistles for less than 3K but and a big but you gotta do some hefty cutting and welding. The other route, utilizing all original mounting holes can run upwards of 4.5K citing prices from various companies for all the goodies than Heidt's provides in one kit. I just can't believe that the price to reuse stock mounting is that costly, I have gotta be missing something maybe a company I'm not familiar with...any answers would really help I would like to have all the parts sitting in my garage when I get home I just wanna make the best choice.
