I'm helping a buddy put a DIS 4 in a '98 GT 'vert, and we can't get the thing to work.
Everything is under the hood, we're using 2 tach adapters, it's one of the older DIS 4's with the switches instead of the rotary dials.
The car runs, but it misses/stumbles really bad. Acts like it's down a couple cylinders or the firing order/timing is wrong.
Car is fine with the regular ignition installed, he's driving it like that right now.
Any input is appreciated. He bought it used, could one of the 8912 tach adapters be bad?
