Any good books you used for engine building?

I'm getting my block back from the machine shop for the holidays. I want to get a book with some tricks to engine building because I'm going to install the crank, pistons, rings, rods, cam, etc... Why? Well for the experience. IMO it's not worth having something like a 400+HP N/A 393 cubic inch mustang if you can't build it yourself. I like getting my hands dirty lol

So if any good reading out there, please share it.
