I have tiny rust spots all over my fuel rails. I have tried fine sanding, and something else that I cant remember. Any of guys had luck using anything else?

I would say the scotch brite-type wheels for the dremmel would do the job, but I dont for sure!

Take some Mothers metal polish, and fine steel wool...give it a rub down and that should cure it....its stainless steel, so hopefully its not pitted....i give mine a douche in that stuff everytime i can get at it....

I would say try some that Nevr-Dull stuff, it took rust off of a knife I had found in my garage. Should come in a can that looks like this...

The three fuel rails I've worked on have been chromed steel. You can use Lime-away it will chemically remove the rust and not leave scratches in the chrome. I then take spray rust converter and wet a q-tip and treat the rust spots so they don't rust again.

Try some steel wool. That $hit works wonders on surface rust and chrome. It also adds an amazing shine to the chrome and wont scratch it.
