What is the best way to transfer that plate to the new vehicle (I live in CA) all of you California stangers? Could it be as simple as getting a new plate for the new car and then swap them/change registrations with the DMV? I don’t want to leave the vanity plate with the new owner when I sell my 97 and hope they will release it... I know I can call/check the DMV website but the choice between surfing a government website bleedingvayneAD said:Rice Etr

and coming here is a no brainer.
Oh in case anyone wonders my plate is ROHERYN. Any Lord of the Rings fan might know this one, those who don't; Aragorns gifted horse from Arwen (a horse of Rohan).
