Any Ideas to remove crank pulley with stripped bolt????AGGHHHHHHH

1 of the allen bolts is stripped and ive used penetrating oil, those locking wrenchs(forgot name) and a bigger allen key but this thing is on pretty tight. ANy ideas?

odd. my crank pulley is held on with a bolt you get off with a socket wrench. hmm, you might have to use a tap and die set.

Are you talking about one of the 4 bolts and not the main crank bolt in the center?
Try and tap a socket tightly over top of it and then slowly try to torque it off.

yeah one of the 4 bolts holding the crrank pulley. imma go try tapping a socket onto it right now thanks.

You could try and heat it up with a torch then put a vicegrip on the bolt head.

I bought some good sockets from Sears that are just for such a deal. They worked on a bolt I had that way. They have cool little points on them at angles to bite as you turn them.
