I am planning on going one of the days. Varian was referring to the TorqueFreaks spring dyno event. Since it is under relatively new ownership, nobody thought to announce the event on this site. Varian- I was under the impression they were dynoing friday, but I am pretty sure their site says that the dyno event is being held saturday and sunday...I'll check their site again. So you are going to be dynoing with pump gas and methanol? It's about time I see that supra on the dyno!

I just checked the TorqueFreaks site. They state that the dyno day is held on the 25th and 26th (saturday and sunday).

Who, Me or the other Eric? My junk is still scattered all over the country, besides it's dyno shy. Would be nice to break the 500whp mark some day though...

yeah you waterpog please 500rwhp my butt you trap the 1/4 in like 135mph+ you should have more than that.

As for me dynoing? hah maybe on lower boost. My car has a loose unlocked torque converter it will never show good dyno numbers. Previous owner did manage to get a 698rwhp out of it though @ 32psi.

It's a bit of a running joke, the most my car has ever put down on the dyno is ~420whp...and I've been on the rollers on 3 different occasions, twice at torque freaks and once at Fast Specialties...seriously.

heh nice trapping 151mph tha'ts insane! And with 420whp.

I think the only time i dynoed personally i did like 560rwhp? it was lower boost with a even looser torque converter though.

I'll be there Sat. I'm guessing with my mods I'll be around 250-260. But I would like to get my numbers now before I get my SC

I'll be there on saturday. What turbo do you have on your supra? I never got to look at your car much last summer, because I was busy fending off all the ricer kids who kept asking questions about it.

Looks like I'm gonna have to go on Sunday. Matt says Saturday's schedule is full. I might still drop by on Sat to check out some rides.

I have a Precision turbo 74 aka SP74 .81 AR
It's a 74mm compressor.
Larger than the known 67mm greddy t-78
Larger than the known 71mm greddy t-88d. However the t-88d has a much larger exhaust housing. Both make around the same HP. But the sp74's have better spoolup characteristics for the dinky 3.0 liter.

Since your in the market I can give you a spin in it this weekend if ya wanna feel it. Most likely I'll be dumpin some rice fuel in it too.
There is going to be a black supra there that has the same turbo & transmission as mine. I guess he put down 900rwhp through the auto unlocked. But he's using nitrous also.

Hah i'd be more excited to see your beast with some grade A rice fuel @ high boost. That truely would be the highlight, all that low end torque destroying everything in sight.
Only way i am going to be putting down good numbers is if you dyno before me. The damaging, weakening, loosening, stressing of the dyno after your car makes one pull will allow any car including mine to put up false inflated numbers. One could safely assume that a viper putting down 420rwhp would put down 550rwhp+ after Jons car took abusive power to the rollers.
