Any one a Real Estate Agent Here? I need access to the MLS Listings Database

Curious if anyone here is a real estate agent. I am looking to get a place in Hoboken NJ and I would like to have a look at the listings database that all realtors have access to. The websites of the indiviual realtors are fine, but they are not always up to date. If anyone could help me out I would appreciate it.

The website that you mentioned (www.mls.com) isn't what I am looking for. That site only lists a small fraction of what is for sale in the area. The one I am looking for is what all realtors have acccess to and apparently only realtors have access to. It will list every home within the area you are looking that is for sale regardless of what agency is selling it.

A realtor probably won't allow you direct searching access mainly due to their liability and it violates their codes of ethics. Why don't you ask for help from a realtor, most will send you lists of the types of property off the MLS w/o being obligated to using them. Just be upfront in what you want.

I don't know if it's available everywhere, but you might see if an agent local to you will set you up with "listingbook" if it's in your area. I've never seen it here in WNY (Was an agent, too much with a full time job), but when we were looking in NC (winston salem area) an agent set us up on it-it's pretty much a consumer version of the mls-even shows DOM (Days on market) and lets you look at other properties nearby & what they listed/sold for (goes back like 3 years). I think it mostly filters out info like owner name and stuff that they wouldnt want shared, but it appears to be a bona fide version of the MLS to me.
