Any One Know What These Are And Where They Go

Hi,
I have a 95 3.8 v6 and im a little confused about these two.
So this first one is behind the glove box.
I know that its vacuum lines attached but not sure where it should plug in.
One end is attached to the ac control dial and the other is just lying behind the glove box.
The A/c dial is stuck in default mode.

Second is under the bonnet. I believe its called a purge valve solenoid. Is that Right?
Now the hose connection to the left is connected but the one coming out the right is missing
Where does it go?
I believe the pipe to the right connects to the charcoal canister in the right hand fender well. But the pipe to the right is connected to nothing

Yes, the second picture is the purge solenoid. One side goes to charcoal canister in passenger side fender area and the other to the intake manifold. If it is not connected you probably have a vacuum leak and the car is not idling very well due to unmeasured air entering the intake.

Do u know where on the intake manifold as I can not see any visible missing connections

The fittings are on the intake's underside. The line from the purge solenoid my go to a vacuum tree fitting instead of directly to the intake. Where it goes doesn't matter so long as there aren't any fittings that remain uncapped as any open end on a vacuum line will allow un-metered air into the system. This is critical to the operational performance of the engine.

The connector under the dash should fit into a plug for the HVAC system. There is a single line from the engine side through the firewall. This line usually starts at a fitting close to the brake booster. Vacuum tubing can be purchased by the foot in any number of diameters/sizes and is easy to replace as well as making your own vacuum trees using tee fittings in a row.

Hmm I don't have vacuum tree
Only thing I have similar is on the drivers side and 4 hoses come off that

What you want at the end of the day is for all the vacuum operated devices to be hooked up and no open ends.
Here's a diagram of the vacuum system. It's pretty straight forward.
