I'm running 275/40/17 tires up front with the stock suspension right now, along with 315/35/17's in the rear. I'm looking to get my suspension done shortly after x-mas and plan on getting H&R SS springs with MM Caster/Camber plates. The drop is 1.6" in the front. Anyone have any rubbing issues with this setup? I'm alittle worried with a drop that low and the wider tire. If there are going to be major issues I might consider going with the Steeda Sports instead which are only about 1.25", but don't like the stance as much as the H&R SS's.

At least it's more erect and not floppy anymore.

I have the same tires running in the front with a 1.5 drop. It's tight, you might have a tiny rub, if not it would be close.

with the stock h&r ss's I didnt notice any rubbing. But it wasn't low enough. The front had a 3 finger gap and the rear had a 2.5 finger gap. So I cut 1 coil off the front. Sits awesome. But at full turn and with a load on it the tires rub my fender liners

My 275 Kumho's 712's rubbed some. But I couldn't stand the way they tracked on the road. I'm more happy with my 255's now.

The only thing my 275s hit is my swaybar. The tires squeak on it at full lock.

My 275/40/17's on my GT & my 265/35/18's on my Mach both rub a little on full lock turns, but its not a big deal....I plan on going with 255's in the front next time on the GT & most likely on the Mach too, because there is no need for a tire any wider up front imo....
