Any way to find the color production number of a model?

Hey everyone! I'm applying for some stated value insurance with American Collectors and the form asks for the number produced of the model. Mine is a '02 GT Mineral Gray Deluxe Coupe. I know they made 26,898 MG Mustangs in '02, but they made a total of 33,093 GT's in all colors. I really don't see many GT's around here in MG, just V6's. Is there any way to find out the production number of '02 MG GT's specifically? Or is there just a color production number for all Mustang models? Thanks!

Could you possibly just call Ford?

I know Saleen will give production numbers to you and give you a little breakdown. I can't imagine Ford not doing the same.


Eg: "2002 Mustang GT coupe: XXXX in Laser Red, XXXX black..." etc.

Might be worth a shot anyway.

You may also find it with a google/wiki search, but I'd call Ford first.

I called Ford and they have a request in to their research team to give me an answer. They think they can break it down for me, but arent sure. I'm very interested to see how many in my year were produced with the cloth interior since I had to order the car with the cloth interior because the dealer couldn't find a car like mine in the country when I bought it. I guess we'll see. They are supposed to call me back in two or three days.
