Unfortunately it'll probably come with either the 2.3 ecoboost out of the Ranger or the 2.7 ecoboost. I'd be fine with the later and the 7-speed manual that's rumored to be developed for it.

Ford Racing Performance Parts (FRPP) makes a series of “letter” cams for the 5.0: B303, E303, F303 and X303, to improve performance.

The tubes from the headers to the air cleaner snout is a heat riser for cold starts, you may be able to transfer the shield to an aftermarket set of headers or leave the tubes off, it will draw air from the engine compartment that will be warm until the flaps in the snouts close during warm up.
