You can get the 185's in either configuration. And you are correct, I've already got a nice set of FRPP 1.6 pedestal billet rockers mounted on my GT40X's.I thought AFR's were studs not pedestal. Either way, I wouldn't let that stop you from getting the TFS heads unless you already have the rockers.
I'm saving for these too....I think the tfs11r heads are perfect for your build. They have topend valvetrain and flow very well. Post up with your results when done! Good luck!
Me too!! You're ahead of me though. I don't have the Dart shortblock. I was going to grab a set and put them on my 302 but I'm going to wait. Plan on giving Woody (FordStrokers.com)a call this summer and ordering an engine so I can throw it in this winter.I'm saving for these too....
