WOuld LT's change you're emissions at all? I figured the only thing that would do that in you're exhaust would be you're cats? I'm prolly way off but could someone tell me why?

well in CA if you have them and go to a reputable smog shop you will fail because they are ILLEGAL here. same with any of the aftermarket X or H pipes, including the ones with cats.

if they are checking emissions at the tail pipes then that is a no. if they aren't then there are ways to get around it.

You will not pass visual inspection if they check.

The longtubes supposedly place the cats too far back in the exhaust to get the required heat needed to reduce emissions. On LI, you might be able to get away with a visual, but the exhaust gas check is a PITA to pass. Hi perf. cams would fail in my car.

Depends on your States Vehicle Laws. Some say L/T's are fine, some dont. In NC, L/T's are ok, but you have to have at least 2 cats and pass the sniffer test.
Ill probably fail mine knowing my luck
