Anybody Run a 305/45/18 or 295/45/18 on a Fox??

Im going to be converting my car to 5 lug soon, and I want to run a 28" tire on the rear and was wondering if anybody has run either of those sizes? There going to be going on 18x10 Saleen wheels with fox length axles. The 305/45/18 are Nitto NT05R or NT555R and the 295/45/18 are Nitto NT555 or NT05. If you got pictures post them up. Ive seen them on 05 and up but not on a fox.

i run a 295/35/18 on mine with it pretty well lowered. about one finger of fender gap. ill post some pics tomorrow.

My car has 4.10s and Im running out of gear in the quarter, Im about to rev limiter in 4th at the end, with the 275/40/17s I have now. I did find a couple of 27" diameter tires that might work also.

BIG tires. My 285/35/18s look large on the back of the car. A wider and then 45 series tire will be very large. If you do try it out, post up.

NT555R 315s on 17x10.5" wheels. They tuck just inside the fender, but I had to roll the outer and hammer the inner.

my lightning has 295/45's. thats a big and wide tire. i dont think it will even fit under a fox.

45 series tire on an 18 inch wheel on a fox? Going to look horrible. That's like a truck tire.
Instead of munipulating the tires (in a very bad way) change the gears.
On an 18 of anything wider than a 265 you are going to need a 35 series tire, i'd imagine with a 305 you would need a 30 series.

Remember as you go up in width you need to go down in profile.

nitto's are about the skinniest tires in the industry

Same size tire 275/40-17 Mickey Thompson VS Nitto
