Going to work on getting the Stang first. Getting closer. A quad would be sweet but not yet. Maybe I'll cruise down there and hang out. Haven't been to Sand Lake for a while.

Did you see the '88 SSP on CL?

Yeah I saw it. Looks sharp, but a bit steep.

A Quad in the back of the Dodge would look sharp:nice: Not sure if my phone will work down there, but give me a jingle if you go.

No offense man but I rode bikes pretty much non-stop for 16 years before I was paralyzed on a superbike, and with your size I think you would probably have a lot more fun on an R6 v.s the R1. I have a crap load of friends that still ride as well as my brother and all of them have said that the R1 is just a handfull that you literaly have to arm wrestle to ride.

The R6 I think is a 100 times better looknig bike and is only a slightly bit slower as far as speed goes but as far as handling goes the R6 will feel 100 times lighter in corners and be so much easier and more fun for someone a bit smaller in stature to handle and balance when your not moving

Just my two cents but comes from years of riding.
Thanks Bro I really apreciate the advice:nice: But I used to have a R1 and im used to the power in any gear, you can be off a gear and not in the sweet spot and they'll still pull hard and I really like the torque. I've had 600's before Honda F3, gxr 600 and they handled great but you really had to ring them out spinning her pretty high to feel the power. That was in 95 and 96 so maybe theyve changed a little now but I worked my way from a gsxr 750 to a kawasaki ZX9, CBR 929 and my faverate was a R1. But your totaly wright with my size a 600 would be perfect, but I just love the power of the 1000cc but you never know a new R6 might be the way to go and i'll definately give it some serious thought. Thanks again:nice: Btw im looking forward to hanging out with you again at S/B and hope to see you soon.

I had 2 seadoo's....but had to sell them and my lincoln because of my divorce. When I move back up, Ed and I are thinking of buying a couple. Just waiting to find work, then I will move. Just bought this baby though...all wheel drive!

All wheel drive, huh? Slap a flag and a permit on that beast and hit the dunes!:D

Leave the blades on it.....:rlaugh:

My YFZ is in pieces...

What motor is Cory running in the rail?

I was down at Winchester a few weekends ago, there were a couple 3.5L Honda turbod VTECs.... my goodness, flat out amazing machines.

Here's some pics from my last trip to the dunes. These were taken around Horsfall.

That's a Caddy rail with a 400hp Northstar motor. The single seater has a GSXR1100 motor with about 25 psi of boost. That thing weighs about 900 pounds and makes about 350+hp.

This trip had approximately 75 people camping, riding and partying together.

I'd love to see a CJ-5 make it up Banshee Hill.

Yeah the CJ was quite the spectacle. We all sat on our bikes at the bottom in awe. I think the driver was kinda off his rocker if ya know what I mean. That little zig-zag in the middle gets pretty skinny....

Last summer me and my buddy built a hyundai golf cart powered by a gsx-r 750. We put paddles on it and were gonna take it up banshee hill, but never got the chance. I wish we would have...:(

One time me and my buddy got bored and took blasters up B hill. That was funny. kinda like a slow race...

Just got in. Rode all day and night. Its almost 1am, so I am crashing..I am staying in the Shilo tonight. There are a ton of people at Sand Lake so it could be tough to find you sn98gt. I will keep my eye out for your bike. Only saw 4 other 3 wheelers so you should be able to spot me. There are some seriously fast bikes out here:nice:
