Anyone Else Buy Stuff You Don't Need?

Found this today in my home town of all places which is about 5 hours away from now. I am getting that itch, really like the V3, and the new D1X from pro charger but this old bastard still calls my name!!

That kit has the small inlet manifold on it. The blower itself, may be 2.2L vs. The common 2.1L. I dont know if you can still get the Flowzilla setup for these.

Forgot about these two pics. So what do you think? @Noobz347 does all this look legit? So I remember the person he bought it from on FB, the guy said he had it gone through and rebuilt. Not sure on the price I’d like to get everything for 3k

Flowzilla inlet to boot????? I consider that a steal if you get it for anything less than 35. A steal :nice:

Are there any other pieces aside form the inlet? Any small parts like couplers etc.?

I'm trying to think back to what all was included in the Flowzilla conversion kit. There were some pieces and parts for moving the bypass to between the manifolds. I can't recall if the vacuum diaphram was re-used or re-placed.

At any rate, my kit looked initially like that one. It's how I ended up with a 2.2L Flowzilla. None of the pre-made Flowzilla kits were 2.2L to my knowledge.

That i have no idea or know anything about. So in your opinion if I can grab this I should try and do so.

I would. I'd slap that thing on my 89 and smile the whole time for that price. At 3500, It's more than a thousand below what you could get a flowzilla kit for back in the day. So even if you have to dig up some 'stuff' I think You'd be ahead. What you have there looks very close to what they sold as the 'tuner' kit minus some minor parts that I mentioned above.

I paid more for my kit and they are getting harder to find.

If you don't buy it, I'd have to think hard about it. :chin

That 89 I have would love that thing.
Ha No!!!! So been chatting with the guy and tried for 3200 for everything but he came back that he is pretty set at 3500 and said he didn’t want to sell it, but decided why not since his coupe is down currently but if it doesn’t sell then he is gonna slap it on. Any ways I’m really contemplating getting it. So #1 when you mount the flowzilla inlet, I’m guessing all that black piping with the bypass in it goes away, and you just run the elbow which also moves the bypass? On the inlet of the flowzilla how does that tab mount to it, bc on the blowzille you can see it has that little block plate that is hexed bolt in and the tubing or coupler gets tightened on it, and same for the other side where it mounts to the intake side? #2 I noticed you said in FoxMustangLvr that the unit was to small for that one decked out motor he had but I’m thinking that unit was a 1.5 then he got the 2.1, my question is with my H/C/I, injectors, mass air etc I won’t be hurting or limiting

myself would I?

I also just noticed this plate bolt onto this side and didn’t notice it on your post up of your set up or in this article with those who ran the flowzillla

Yeah.... I remember changing that manifold (the pressurized manifold). I sold the Bowzilla portions to another dude who picked up a 1.7L blower.
So are you saying it would need a different manifold if I wanted to swap to that flowzilla inlet? Sorry for all the questions but before I dive into this I want to make sure I can use it and not have to start hunting for other parts etc.
