Hopefully there are others that have installed a 14PSI KB blower on their 99+ GT. Mine is a 2002GT conv.

Initial tune is around 430 rwh with 450TQ. This is with conservative timing (8 degrees down low and 16 up top). Pump gas 93 octain 11:1 a/f. This is with forged components stock heads. (not stroked).

I expect to gain some by increasing the timing at the bottom end.
I plan to try octain boost (NOS) with switch chip for the track (500rwh+ is my target).

What kind of power are others experiencing?

Any other dyno's. I will upload mine as soon as I get the next tune.

i would expect 450-475 from 14 psi. Your timing may be having an affect on the power though also.

Raising your gasoline's octane is only going to allow you to run higher boost levels at higher timings. You'll have to change those two things in order to make more power.

Also, shouldn't your a/f be closer to 12.0:1? I thought that was optimal.

Get that re-tuned, something is wrong. Most people get the same power out of their 9 psi's that KB shows on their dyno on the website. KB's 14 psi should get you over or really, really, close to 500rwhp and 500tq. Sounds to me like something is wrong. Gee, I wish something could be wrong with my car and have it read over 400 hp!!!!!!!!!

Please don't take this the wrong way, KB markets the kit as a 14 psi set up. It comes with a 9 psi belt though. You have to order and install the 14 psi belt to run that level of boost. I say this since 430ish rwhp and 450 tq is about what most folks are getting with 9 psi and the optional goodies - throttle body, CAI, & MAF. If you are only netting these numbers with a 14 psi belt, something is wrong.

I agree. you should be around the 500hp mark with the 14psi pulley. Just remember, you lose 4hp per degree of timing retarded.
