Anyone ever put a GT instrument cluster into a 92-93 Mustang with a 2.3T?

For a direct swap in your car you'll need the panel from a 92-93 car. I'm guessing you're after the 140mph speedometer. Just swap the speedometers out and put your original cluster back in. I don't think the tach can be switched. I believe you could on the earlier ones, but not the later. I could be wrong about the tach though.

The difference in the speedos is in the speedo, no other changes are necessary. If the speedo is accurate now, it will also be accurate with the 140 mph speedo without changing drive or driven gears.

There's plenty of others running around with '91 and later 2.3 cars with trubo motors in them and no problems with factory instrumentation. I think you're good to go. :)

Yup, keep the 4cyl tach and just swap in the 140 speedo. I just dropped mine in with no issues at all. As stinger suggested you could probably swap boards on the back of the tach, but i havent talked to anyone that has done, and i am sure you what you would gain by running a v8 tach.

When I put my 140 speedo in my 92 it read too fast. I think that it does matter what gear that is in the tranny. I think that when I swap to a T-5 ill check with the local Mustang shop to see which gear that I have.
