i think i'm going to order up a 281 spoiler from abc and will order new hood to get painted at the same time.....I'm torn between a regular cobra r 3in cowl, cobra r with the svo scoop....and maybe this one (hard to tell from these pics though) http://www.mrbodykit.com/bodykits/99mustangvenomhood.htm

anyone ever seen that last one in person or seen more pics of it on cars??

here's my ride.....

Just to throw it out there.....could I pull off a Y2k Cobra R spoiler? I just think maybe it would look good offsetting how low the car is in the front with the razzi... It's really the hood I want but feel i have to add a spoiler because the rear will look tiny with a bigger hood and the front ground effects. I just don't know if the s 281 spoiler will make it look that much more substantial...and I don't like the rousch spoiler that much to buy one....

Im not too sure about that hood, it looks cheap & tacky. i like your car the way it is or with a 95 or 2000 Cobra R hood. Keep that stock spoiler, or get an S281 because the Y2K Cobra R spoiler looks like S**T....Even if i had a 2000 Cobra R I would take that ugly P.O.S spoiler off.

I don't like the hood either. I think it looks like something that belongs on a Honda with an electric turbo

I agree with the others. That 3rd hood would defiantly be out for me. Looks too ricey imo. I would go with the 95 Cobra R.

If you want a hood with vents, I would go with the Saleen S281-E hood. However it is pricey!!

IMO, no mustang other then the Limited Edition Y2K Cobra R can pull of that big ass wing. It just doesn't go with the lines of the car. It looks out of place. Like you put a small picnic table on your trunk and forgot to remove it and drove off.

My vote goes to the S281 spoiler, and since your car is white, you could probably pull off the 3-piece S281.

Car looks good as it is mang

Big scoop + vents just doesn't really fit the car IMO - its clean and smooth and that hood would just throw it off...the R hood would look nice tho

that's a real nice look....your car looks good.....do you happen to have any side profile pics? I'd like to see how high off the the trunk lid that spoiler actually comes......

is the 01-04 281 spoiler different than the 99-00 version? I know there's a slight difference where it mounts, but is it overall the same?

Other than mounting positions, both spoilers are the same. The reason why I have a 99-00 on my '02 GT is because Saleen sent me the wrong one (BIG surprise ), and the rest were on backorder. So the bodyshop got this on by drilling new holes. Save yourself the headache and make sure you have the right one.

yea...I would order the 99-00 to bolt right up.......

How big is your cowl? I want something a that stands up a little more than that... nothing dorky high though... Your cowl looks bigger in your sig pic than from the side... the lines on ur car are perfect though
