Anyone have a Weiand water pump?

I recently bought a Weiand polished 5.0L high-flow water pump. It doesn't come with the the connectors for the heater/bypass hoses installed, but they do come in the box. It says to install them with some Loctite 609, but it looks like it's going to be a pretty tight fit. I'm hoping they will tap into place with a mallet. There doesn't seem to be a good way to press them in. Anyone had to do this before?

i ran this pump before, i loaded the crap out of the fittings with loctite, and yes i did use a mallet to hammer in the fittings for the heater hoses. it is a super tight fit and alot of the loctite squeezed back out when i installed the fittings, so make sure you use alot. also be careful you dont hammer them in TOO FAR because it they could interfere with the propeller (i think the directions state the exact amount you should fit in there) good luck, once the install is done it looks awesome!
