I would go with header, full exhust, cold air intake, underdrive pullies , colder t-stat bump the timming, gears? I dont know much about these 4 cyl. as for this is the first stang 4 cyl. i've owened? But i know by doing the rest i stated above on my 95 gt it made a improvement! And is all fairly resonable to do. Then when the funds come to you i would do head cam and possible a turbo or throw the bottle at it? How did the coil packs and the plugs work for you? I got a set of the same plugs awaiting install as well. Where did you get the coil packs from and what did they run you. peace

First I would say that the bosh platinum isn't really "good" for our motor, just stay with the good old motorcraft spark plug or NGK

For the header, take a ranger header I don't remember exactly what year..

CAI, is a good start, not much Cold air intake kit is available for our car, so you'll have to made it by yourself

Depending on your transmission, make sure if you do go with a cam that your choice is not too radical. Our Speed Density systems don't do well with fairly aggressive grinds. This is especially true with the auto trans as they are sensitive to engine vacuum changes.
