As you can see I took out my A/C and put it on the back firewall, and I think it looks good and fits really well there, but it is a b**** to change out the segments the way I have it installed. And I dont want to flip it so you cant read anything(Trying to keep it looking neat). Any pics of better places?

I would say do a battery relocate and then put your 6al in that spot where the battery used to be. Do you notice a big improvement with an ignition box like that?

I think the pass side left kick panel would look cool!

Yeah it does. That is where my dad put his MSD Digital 6 ignition in his 1971 Mach 1, looks sweet.

MSDs

It replaces the stock ignition module. MSD stands for Multiple Spark Discharge. Up to 3k rpm the MSD box continues to spark a given cylinder up to 20 degrees after the inital spark. It also allows for a much hotter, stronger spark. A must for any serious carbuerated engine.

There is a huge debate on 5.0s due to the fact that the Ford igniotion system in pretty impressive out of the box and many feel that you only need one on a modern stang if you have high compression or supercharging.

I love them. I get a much smoother idle and (seat of the pants feel) more go off the line.

The only drawback I have seen is that you go through sparkplugs quicker.

i needed one after i installed some crazy cam that is long gone now and for the blower.

I mounted it on the radiator support right where the letters "mustang" used to be, i cut the plastic to fit around it and built a bracket..

I mounted my 6A in the drivers side fenderwell.........I had to unhook a cluster of wires to make room but it was the only place I could find that it would fit and reach the battery.
