I'm looking to change out my flomaster 40's and im thinking about going with the SLP Loudmouth exaust. Every stang sounds just about the same out here and I want to seperate myself. They have 3 different systems..LOUDMOUTH, LOUDMOUTH 2, and The PRO FORCE.....anyone have these? hows the fittment? How do they sound/perform. Going to be bolted to BBK shorties-O/R X pipe....someone help me rate these...never heard any of them...so please someone shine some light on the topic
my freind used to have the loudmouth. it definately was different. theres also the magnaflow magnapacks to look at. they sound a lot like the slp (basically same design)
A guy I met had one on his SN-95 4.6 Cobra, the fitment seemed fine (from what I could see -- I didn't get under the car and look) and the tips were straight and everything. He had BBK offroad x-pipe and it sounded okay at best. As 94Five-Oh said above, really f'n loud. It's almost like it doesn't have a real "tone" to it, more just a bunch of garbled noise. I am not sure exactly which system it was that he had (I, II or the Power Flow) though...

+1 on the garbled noise. I've got a similar setup on mine with a catted x and dynamax resonators (very similar to LM2) and i dont like the way it sounds at any rpm other than WOT. No tone at all, you might as well just take off the catback and run dumps off the H pipe, it would sound the same. Wish i woulda kept my flow's.
Another option is JBA. They seem to be pretty rare on Mustangs. I've got a setup on my 95 with stock headers and an offroad-H. Here are some links to videos. Enjoy.
