I will see it. Its not that often that a car related movie comes out anymore. I didnt think that the first 2 were that bad, I watch them every once in a while.

im with you  kinda liked the first one actually... and hey its just a movie, maybe they blow up stuff and have some cool car effects you never know

instead of watching this garbage, go rent Vanishing point, No mans land (the one with charlie sheen), The orignal gone in 60 seconds from 1975, and the 2001 nick cage remake, Bullitt, Junkman, Deadline Auto Theft / Gone In 60 Seconds 2.

then go download the gumball 3000. and downlod some top gear / fifth gear episodes.

this fast and furious crap is meaningless junkfood

are there any good car movies i missed?

there is the smokey and bandit trilogy, and the cannonball run trilogy, but those are more cheesy 70s movies.

speed zone anyone remember speed zone? where they skip the countache across the pond?

listen i just got back from a smaller lesser known chain of movie rentals and i couldnt bleieve the selection they had. for 11$ canadian i got the original gone in 60 seconds 1974, the dvd that has the gon in 60 seconds 2 and deadline auto theft on it, Junkman (same director), eat my dust, and Grand theft auto. to complete it i also rented 2001 nicolas cage gone in 60 seconds.
so thats 7 movies for 11$.

the copywright date on the back of gone in 60 seconds 2 is 1983 but i dont know when it was filmed. i read that the director was killed during filming gone in 60 seconds 2 and deadline auto theft. they are on the same dvd.

the second one was better than the first i thought because it finally gave some respect to american muscle.....even though they crushed a Saleen in that movie :nonono: ....but when there racing for the Nova and the Camaro and what ever the hell his name says we cant beat them straight up I smiled as if they have finally have realized there place.....its to bad other kids my age dont realize it either :nonono:
it was either a challenger or a cuda, not a nova...and whoever said they cant wait to see the 67 mustang in the new one, ill have you know its powered by nissan...yea....:nonono:

but i'll def go see it...its one of the best things to make fun of if you know anything about cars...i mean, in the first on, vin diesel says "granny shifting, not double clutching like you should.." WHO DOUBLE CLUTCHES WHEN THEY RACE???? AND WHY WOULD THE FLOOR PAN EXPLODE???

i don't think these movies cause teenagers to drive dangerously, but they damned sure encourage them to. ever since the first ' the false and fictitious ' hit the screen the number of hot headed ignorant teenage drivers has seemed to triple. or is it just me? i'd rather watch "Barney The Purple Dinosaur Takes A Gay Romp At The Neverland Ranch Pt. II ' than watch another fast & furious movie. I wish the idiot behind those movies would make a real life, realistic movie based on the thousands on people who die each year in stupid ( and entirely avoidable ) accidents because of the kind of driving those movies glorify.

I need a good laugh so I might go see it......Plus after the movie there will be some ricers just wanting to race and that's when I roll up in the Mustang and say "wat's the matter don't think you can hang with a stang"......the thing is 18 years old shure you can beat it

I'll probably end up downloading it. lol...My car will be parked somewhere nice and safe the day this movie comes out though. I've never seen as many people pulled over in one day than when the first two movies came out. I think drifting is badass though and I won't mind watching it. Granted the drifting in this one will be about as real as the drag racing in the first two but, eh it's entertainment. If you live somewhere like Okinawa Japan like I did you can't help but like drifting. I wouldn't mind getting myself a little 86 Toyota Trueno......ok I'm rambling now

EFFIN' Hilarious!!!! Barney @ Neverland:hail2:

AMEN brother......Those who know about cars don't try that stupid stuff. Just sit outside a movie theatre and watch the rice fly when this movie lets out.

YES!!!! Let's get a group of Stangnetters together and we'll find a section of the parking lot to take over. We won't go into the movie theater... we'll just sit outside and have a tail gate party, drink beer, cooks some burgers, and laugh our asses off at all the *** Crap pressure cookers that roll by for the start of each movie.

We can have door prizes for whoever has the best "point and laugh" at the beginning of each movie (and subsequent fart can exhaust parade).

Hot off the press....."The Fast and the Furious 4: Tijuana Bounce"......

Starring Lil' Bow-wow and Antonio Banderas with special appearances by Steven Segal and Chuck Norris. Soundtrack performed by "Kriss Kross".

2 Stalwart brothers (Bow-wow, Banderas) head South of the Border to show the natives how hydraulics should be done.....

Mexican antagonist 'Julio' to Banderas "Ju theenk ju can out-bounce me ol man? Check dees out. Seeexteen sweeetches for de beeeeches!"

Enter Chuck Norris stage left punching Julio in the package.

Banderas "Looks like ju won't have any need for jour BEEEEECHES anymore main. Come on beeeches."

Bow-wow "Was that Chuck Norris?"

Enter Segal stage right "Yes son it was. That was a fisted dragon punch to the serpentine belt. Damn near fatal. Come on, fellas, let's get out of here."
