Looking to get solid axle and swap it with my 04 Cobra IRS.

The timing is pretty short need to know in ess then 2 week thing. If I don't get any takers I'm putting a couple grand into my suspension work and shoring up my IRS.

Need 99+ GT or earlier Cobra solid.

Krazy Koncepts will do the swaping...

So you can fix it? The reched god for saken..vile shaft snapping diffy blowing...teeth grinding...no speed going
Wheel Hop! LOL

Honestly the IRS Billet Flow brackets did me about 60% better. What tires Jordan? I'm thinking Nitto 555R's in the back and Nitto 555 Extreem Performance in the front. Stay stock rims for now.

I'm going to be dumping some fairly decent coin in the next 2 weeks on her....any thoughts on suspension jordan? I'm getting a 4lb metco lower as well I think.

I'm just worried about snaping my halfshafts on this thing even If I solve the wheel hop problem. I have heard a few people snapping halfshalfts stock! I'm mean crap if I want to fix that it's $1000 for DSS Level 2 halfshafts rated at 600hp. *shrugs*

If your car is going to see fairly regular drag duty, then go with the solid. You could get a built 8.8" for about the same price as "shoring up" your IRS. However, swapping your IRS will help you shed several hundred pounds. If your car is going to stay pullied, with bolt-ons, then I would just fortify your IRS, as Jordan suggested. Good luck finding a taker on the IRS!:nice:

Drag radials + Rain = hydroplaning death

Been there, barely escaped, no t-shirt just brown staind shorts.

If you don't like hop change the way you drive. I did.

Ok well hmmmm crap....what about KDW-2's don't think they make a 17" version yet...maybe KDW's.

Well me thinks I will keep her for now....I"m not getting any takers and I have pretty much figured out my next haul of parts for early next month.

I'm going to dump some coin in....:SNSign:

New tires....front and rear coil overs....IRS bushings....IRS Brace bushings...rear sway bar...rear sway bar bushings...blah blah...

4lb lower, midpipe, swaping my 2.76 BF for a 2.93...probably a MAS extender as well.

hopefully it will geter done. We shall see Nov 9th - ?? when it's finishied.
