"God doesn't care where you pray as long as you are praying"

My grandfather said that many years ago when I was a kid, and I asked him why he wasn't going to church any more( I didn't know at the time he had cancer) and that is what he said.

My favorite " A man has got to know his limitations" Clint Eastwood- in the Enforcers

"I have not yet begun to fight!"

"I wish to have no connection with any ship that does not sail fast; for I intend to go in harm's way."

"If fear is cultivated it will become stronger, if faith is cultivated it will achieve mastery. "

"It seems to be a law of nature, inflexible and inexorable, that those who will not risk cannot win."

"Whoever can surprise well must conquer."
