Anyone know anything about mid 80's Saleen Mustang Wheels?

I just scored on a set of 4 Riken 15x7 4x4.25 bolt pattern wheels from my work for free. They are the multi (mesh?) spokes with the black center and polished lip. They look exactly like the picture attached. I have 16" pony wheels that are already on the car and I like them better so I'll use 2 of these for my drag radial wheels, in place of the 10 hole wheels I had before.

Just wondering if anyone knows if the Saleen wheels were Riken or some other brand.

I was told a long time ago that the mesh style Saleen wheels were made by American Racing. I had a set on an 85 Capri.

Hmm...that could be true, but the Riken's I have are still pretty cool

Mav, I would hit a Saleen forum. Those might be worth something (if so, I might not drag with them).

Congrats.

I think all Saleens had 16" wheels at that time. 16x7 front and 16x8 rear if memory serves.

I also think they had 16" wheels right from the start.

I beleive the early 4-eye years were 15" BBS wheels. They were also 4-lug up til 1986

In 1987 Saleen went to 5-lug and 16"
