I remember reading about those cars a while ago. If my memory is correct, those cars were confiscated from street racers, and were used to deter illegal street racing. I would be interested as well.

yea, they talked about them in an issue of mm&ff a while back. the issue covered street racing in the ny area. I'd like to know what hapeened to them too.
I saw both cars on display at the int'l auto show in the javits center a few years ago... the supercharged car no longer had the blower... according to the officer the car had been pushing head gaskets so they removed the blower.
