pulled car into drive way...let idle for a bit..shut it off...few days later went to start it and it wouldnt start...seemed to be flooded..geting to much gas when crankin..which has happend before but it would usually start...this time it wouldnt....and finally my stock starter went south...
put new starter in...cranked it over..wouldnt start...backfiring from exhaust...turned fuel down some...no go..cleaned plugs..no go...reset to TDC and rotor to #1 and it fired right up...would idle for about 20-30 sec then start to stumble and die..did this about 4-5 times then after messing with the timing some it wouldnt idle at all..take foot off gas and the RPM's would come down and it would die...after about 4-5 times of that the new starter i got ...died also
P.S. its winter time now so i wont be worken on it till spring but i still like to have some ideas of what it could be ahead of time
