Anyone know where to find these seatbelts??

Just so happens that I am researching 5 point harnesses and came across these. Simpson sells just the lapbelts in their camlock or regular latch & link.

Pull Down means the adjustment flap of the belt is near the latch end
Pull Up means the adjustment flap of the belt is near the mounting end

Floor Mount usually has an eye bolt mounted in the floor and the mounting end clips into the eye bolt
Wrap around is made to wrap around a roll bar cross bar
Bolt in is made to be bolted into tabs (not bolted directly to the floor)

Oops, someone already beat me to it.

The pull up versus pull down have to do with which direction you pull to tighten the belt. If you look at the pictures it looks like for the pull up belt you pull the belt towards the center of your waist and for the pull down you pull towards the side of your body. Dont take this for the final word, but thats certainly what it looks like to me. This is straight for the Simpson website but it doesn't help very much.

A: What you use is a matter of personal preference and the equipment you’re using. For example, does the belt go through the seat? Will you adjust it or
will someone on the crew? What hardware works best with your set up? Bolt-in, Floor Mount or Wrap Around? The "Pull up" belts are 62" in length. The "Pull down" belts are 52" in length.

I would call Simpson and they should be able to explain the adjustments and the different mounting points.

So it seems that what I'll want to buy is the Floor Mounted Pull Down belts and then order 4 Floor Mount kits... that's $195.70

Wow, even seatbelts cost good money, but hey, safety is TOP priority right?

Just for the record, I never had a grudge against you, I just have a differing view about posting vendor complaints.

But it's water under the bridge to me

Also, be careful installing harnesses on a street car. Most are SFI approved but not DOT. Police can ticket you and/or impound your car for lack of safety belts if they are in the mood. I know it's crazy, but just beware
