Just got their new CD, its pretty good... the last few tracks really threw me off though, especially number 11... its straight from the 80's hair metal scene, haha.

Yeah I'm a fan. Don't own any of their cd's...but what I've downloaded I definately like. What other bands are you into?

As far as newer rock or metal, Shadows Fall and Trivium are my two favorite. There are a few other newer rock/metal bands I listen to, but not as much as them. Aside from that, I love metal and classic rock, and the blues.

Metallica, Pantera, Iron Maiden, Lynyrd Skynyrd, Stevie Ray Vaughn, Tool, Eagles, Jimi Hendrix, Van Halen, Boston, .38 Special, Ted Nugent, BLACK LABEL SOCIETY!!! (Im big on Zakk Wylde), Ozzy/Sabbath, Godsmack, Alice in Chains, Pearl Jam, The Door, Pink Floyd, some Megadeth... and a bunch of others.

The new album, from Shadow's Fall, is the best of all thier albums. The last 9 are OK.
What do you think about Atreyu, Chimaira, Thrice. I love all of thier new albums. Trivium Rocks also.

I guess Atreyu is kinda.
Thrice - Artist in the ambulance is just good.
Chimaira is heavy. Took me a couple spins to get into, but it's serious gym music for me.

All the Shadows Fall CD's Ive heard kick ass. I havnt heard any of their stuff before Brain Fair started singing, and that was way back.

Chimaira is really good..Atreyu is ok...i have listened to Disturbed for 3 days straight now..

I can't take Disturbed seriously after they covered that Phil Collins song or Genesis or whatever. Actually I didn't take them seriously before that. Had some good songs but meh. What else do you listen to? I promise I won't rip on any more bands.

I havent liked any of the recent Shadows Fall cds, I got to listen to the new All That Remains though(old shadows fall singer), its really really good, highly reccomend that one when it comes out.

HOW CAN YOU NOT LIKE DISTURBED!! lol. Thats about the heaviest I like...I love Nickelback, saw them in concert...might see 3 doors down in concert next month...for a while I've been listening to some Alice in Chains and Judas Priest...eh...not much else right now..oh yea MUDVAYNE!! theyre good too

The Art of Balance is probaly my favorite Shadows Fall CD. Their cover of "Welcome to the Machine" is amazing...

A Fire in Babylon is an awesome song too, love the intro...
