Anyone on LI looking for wheels?

Hey whats up everyone. I had a buyer for my 17" Chrome Cobra R rims and tires, so I went out and bought a set of 18" Saleen Reps. Well the kids car died and can't use them any more. If any one is looking for wheels let me know. The wheels are pitted but look real good from a foot or two away. If you guys know any one send me a PM. 3 of the tires have about 7,000 miles left on them and the other is pretty much brand new. I'd rather sell them to someone locally this way they can see the wheels and I don't have to ship them any where. Thanks.

What does 'pitted' mean from your first post. 4 or 5 lug?

The wheels are 5 lug and should fit 94-04 mustangs (and I think I read Explorers also but not sure). It seems the woman who owned the car before me didn't take care of the wheels. When salt and brake dust are left on chrome over time they will "pit" and peel. Pitting is kind of like little holes in the chrome. I've heard it can be fixed with some really fine steel wool, but don't quote me on that because I never tried it. The inside of the wheels are pitted (I think one is peeling a bit). The spoke part of the wheels are in good shape. And there is a little curb rash on one of the wheels. I'll take some pics as soon as I can, or if your local PM me and we can set up a time for you to see them. I know a guy who just spent $780 plus shipping for just the wheels with no tires.

I might, but not to sell the tires - I would end up putting them on my winter wheels. Sorry.

how much would you do for just the rims? Reason i am asking is because i could put drag radials on my other rims and use these as just normal street cruisers.
