Anyone Painted there Trim around there Windows?

That' why I was confused. You're talking about the paint. I was looking for someplace to buy new trim pieces. I've already painted them a few years back, so I'd like to get new trim pieces. My bad. Thanks.

Titanium Grey Trim Paint

I took my trim pieces down to the Auto Paint store and they matched the color of the original trim. Titanium Grey not black, the paint color matched perfect to original. It came out really nice. I washed the trim pieces and wiped them down with bulldog then sprayed them.

Menards is a one man operation up in chester NH. He runs a HUGE mustang/tbird parts yard and has BOXES of trim sitting around. Just call the number and ask him.

i believe steeda now makes a nice thin piece that silicones in over your rear quarter trim and from what i read was really rigid, not very susceptible to bending or denting, and doesn't look awkward or fake... make you should check it out?

I just painted the trim on my 93 coupe. A friend and I took a trim removal tool and removed all of the trim around the windows, front, rear and sides that can be removed while keeping the car sealed from the elements. I hand sanded all of the pieces starting with 220, then 320 then 400. I then used SEM Trim Black. It comes in a 15oz spray can from a paint/body supplier. It's about $10 but it's worth it. It comes out a nice flat/satin black, which is the factory color for black trim.

It's also better as it will resist fading longer. That other stuff that's cheaper looks good now, but may fade more quickly.

I'm going to attempt to sand the rear quarters while they're on the car and see how that goes.

Plus with all of it removed, it's a good time to vacuum at all the crevices, wash the car and hit it with some polish and wax as now you don't have to tape off trim to avoid getting wax on it.

The only other paint I'd recommend is Duplicolor's Bumper/trim paint. It's pretty good too. Also a satin black.

My quarters are so pitted though, I'm going to have to go down to 180 grit I think.
