Ive used a set of drilled and slotted rotors that I got from ebay for pretty cheap on my 94 Cobra and they work awesome, Ive had them on my car for the past two years and have driven it pretty damn hard and have had no issues.

WOW, thats dirt cheap for all 4 rotors . With all that machining and zinc plating for that cheap. Either its a horrible product or the other companies are ripping us off. Drilling and slotting is absolutely useless except for looking pretty. I would worry about stress cracks with that stuff. Especially with rotors that cheap cuz, you dont know what your getting. I have cracked many a plain cobra rotors at the track (one of which was a BAER Track Heat, but it was cut for new pads so its not all BAER's fault) in my car so I wouldent go near something like that. In all honesty, if they were plain I would say there fine. But with the drilling and slotting and possible crappy quality of the iron alloy used (assuming this from the price) I would stay away. If you want drilled /slotted go with a high quality brand and even then only for mild street use. But then again, this is coming from someone who runs race pads on the street and gets the rotors to about 1300 deg. F at the track, so you may be ok. Personally I run Frozen Rotors and so far they have lasted the longest so I think I will stick with them.
