Due to the joys of living in New Zealand, the Hilux is a staple of life down here, and they really are that durable!

Cheap too, can pickup a straight one for about USD$500 that will rock on for another decade, or if you get bored, a common conversion is the 4.0 v8 from a Lexus.

But they never actually did any 4-wheeling in it Or maybe load the bed with concrete bags and drive over some speedbump and a couple curbs. I figured with a test, you'd want to test something you may conceivably use it for. Most trucks can be submerged without any problem once the flooding it fixed. The long term effects are what will kill it.

But then again that wouldn't be as entertaining as hitting it with a wrecking ball.
