anyone that has a car alarm please come on in.. need advice..

Hey all,

my gf has had her car stereo stolen twice in the last three weeks.. for those of you that have been through this you know how demoralizing it is to come out to broken glass and a trashed car.. I park my stang right next to hers and they havent touched me yet.. I have aftermarket stereo stuff too.. First off, how goodis the stock security? Second off what are some nice alarms do any incorporate remote start? best buy has a special any security system over 179 and its free installation.. some links to some info and nice systems would be nice too.. thanks guys its another sad day..

That sucks, they need their asses kicked.I hate thieves probably worse than I hate anyone.I'll look for some links, but you should get one with sensors that detect movement inside of the car and maybe perimeter if it's that big of a problem.Starter kill is always a nice option.Most alarms come with a set number of outputs that you can do almost aything with...remote start,roll up/down windows,etc.

I'm not sure how good the stock security system is as I don't own a Mustang yet. I would look into Viper alarm systems, they are excellent.

Thanks guys for the responses so far.. Im just so down today.. Two seperate neighborhoods this happens.. I gotta admit both steals were pretty clean. I just wanna stake out the 'hood with a bat and destory someone at this point.. One time was bad eneough but twice.. just had the window fixed and the new system put in on saturday, I did it as a present ....

Viper and Hornet are well know. Get a perimeter sensor also. Well worth it. The first mod I did on my car.
