As the title implies, I am wondering if anyone has tried 22's in back and 20's in front. I think this would look great, but wonder if anyone has tried this and if there are any pics of such a combination available? I have 20 inch anthracite bullits on all four corners now. I love the look of the large bullitts, and imagine 22's in back would look really aggressive. I am also wondering if there are any rubbing issues with 20's in front after a 1 1/2 inch lowering job.

After thinking about your question a little longer, I thought that I remembered reading about such a set up in a magazine recently. Sure enough, in the January/February '08 issue of MuscleCar Power magazine, there is a write up and pictorial of an'05 V6 that is running 255/35-20 in the front and 295/30-22 in the rear (Foose Speedster wheels). He was using AirRide, so he had it pretty much slammed. It looked pretty tight.

Not my cup of tea, but you should be fine. I think that if you stick to a overall tire height of around 27" or shorter up front you will be fine and try to keep the width to a max of 265. You can fit a 28" tall rear tire no problem lowered as well. I have a 27" tall 255 mm tire and lowered 1.6" and it doesn't rub at all.
I don't see how running a 22" in the back makes it look agressive:shrug: IMO, these cars look "agressive" with wider and/or taller rear tires. Best of luck in your quest:nice:
