Anyone use a quarter master clutch?

I've heard about these clutches before, more specifically the "stampede series". I read a review in 5.0 M&SF where they talked about how it's only a 8.5 inch clutch but only weighs like 18 lbs compared to 56 stock (counting flywheel) and all this other stuff. Sounds like a great clutch and they claim it works well on street and strip.

I was just wondering if anyone has used these before and what they thought. Thanks in advance.

I'm going to have to call BS on this one. There is no way a whole clutch setup including flywheel, pressure plate, clutch disk, and TOB weighs 18 pounds. Sounds like false hype to me. Maybe just their clutch and pressure plate weighs 18 pounds and they compare that to the whole weight of the clutch assembly of the stock set-up (of 56 pounds). I wouldn't fall for it too fast....
